About America's

I'm Dr. Angela DeRosa and I'm so glad you are here!

A Note from Dr. Angela DeRosa
For 30 years, I’ve been a passionate voice for women’s health, fighting to ensure women are heard, respected, and properly cared for, especially during the most transformative phases of life.
As a physician, educator, author, and fierce advocate, I’ve seen firsthand how women’s health concerns are dismissed, minimized, or misunderstood and it made me angry! That’s exactly why I founded DrHotFlash.com and the Hormonal Health Institute: to give women and providers a place to find real answers, expert guidance, and a new standard of care.
I believe understanding your body is the first step to reclaiming your health and your power. My goal is simple: to help you live vibrantly, confidently, and fully supported as you navigate perimenopause, menopause, and beyond.
You deserve nothing less.

Why Hormonal Health?
Hormones affect everything, from heart and brain health to metabolism, libido, and emotional well-being. Yet most physicians receive little if any formal training in hormonal medicine. The result? Women are often misdiagnosed, incorrectly medicated, or told their symptoms are “normal” when they’re anything but.
Dr. DeRosa’s mission is to fix that. Through provider training, and national advocacy, she is helping women and clinicians unapologetically rewrite the future of hormonal health, with science, compassion, and confidence
